Peace Committee Meeting Held at Bazar Khala Police Station Ahead of Muharram

Lucknow: In preparation for the observance of Muharram, a Peace Committee meeting was organized at the Bazar Khala Police Station to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of religious gatherings and processions during the holy month.

The meeting was held with a focus on maintaining law and order, communal harmony, and coordination between the administration and local residents. Prominent members of the Shia community, respected citizens, and local representatives participated in the discussions.

During the meeting, police officials invited suggestions from community members regarding arrangements for Majlis gatherings and the 10th Muharram processions. Participants highlighted potential issues and logistical requirements, while the police administration assured them of prompt action and necessary support to address concerns.

Officials emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation, brotherhood, and adherence to guidelines to ensure that all Muharram-related events are conducted peacefully and without disruption.

Addressing the gathering, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Bazar Khala, and Station House Officer Brijesh Singh appealed to residents and organizers to celebrate Muharram in an atmosphere of peace, harmony, and mutual respect. They urged all stakeholders to work together in maintaining communal unity and ensuring the successful conduct of the religious observances.
